Donate Your Car
Donate a Car Canada accepts Vehicle Donations for Lennox and Addington Interval House. Free towing is provided in most areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation. When you donate your car, truck, RV, boat, or motorcycle to Lennox and Addington Interval House through Donate A Car Canada, it will either be recycled or sold at auction (depending on its condition, age and location). Donate a Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy for Lennox and Addington Interval House to benefit. Donations and monthly giving
We are but an interval in time for our client’s. Your one time or monthly recurring donations will provide support for those in need. Monthly donations will also sustain our nutrition fund through the purchase of weekly groceries and ongoing sheltering costs for women and children.
Donations and Monthly giving provides the following benefits to both the Donor and Lennox & Addington Interval House (Interval House):
Donor: Convenient, flexible, affordable, save postage, one cumulative tax receipt issued yearly.
Interval House: Predictable capital budgets/cash flow, reduces admin costs, lower postage rates, gifts will be put to use throughout the whole year.

Enthusiasts can organize fundraising events and choose Interval House as the charity of choice. Some creative ideas are sporting events, charity BBQ/dinner, car wash, yard sale, walk-a-thons etc.. Reach out to find out how we can support your event.
IMO (In memory OF) and Tribute donations
In lieu of flowers at a funeral a donor can choose to make a charitable donation to Interval House in memory of a loved one. Gift accumulating over $1,000 in memory of an individual will be honoured as a Tribute under Interval House’s recognition program. Click here to donate.

STOCK DONATIONS
Donors can choose to transfer publicly traded shares from their investment firm. A tax receipt will be issued to the Donor for the FMV of the shares at the time of transfer. This option provides great benefit to the Donor as it avoids capital gains and allows the Donor to give more to their charity of choice. Donate here.
Planned giving (Life Insurance, Bequests)
Gifts of life insurance can take several formats. Donors can name Interval House as the beneficiary of an insurance policy or transfer the ownership of the policy to Interval House while continuing to pay the premiums. Benefits are multifaceted: tax receipt to the estate, after ownership of policy is transferred the Donor will receive income tax receipts for premiums paid, eligible for tax receipt for FMV of the policy, income tax relief experience for the Donor in real time and the charity can expect a generous gift in the future.
A Donor can choose to make a bequest in their will for a specific amount, percentage of the estate or detailed item.
A Donor can choose to name Interval House as beneficiary of their RRSP or RRIF and their estate will receive a tax receipt to off set any tax owing.

GIFT CARD PROGRAM
The goal of this program is to provide gift cards for clients to purchase a variety of needs. Individual Donors can make monetary donations and Interval House will gladly purchase the gift cards on their behalf.
